Nora tells all to her old friend Ms. Linde. Helmer gets an advancement in his job, and all Nora seems to be worried about is how much money he will be getting. Nora supposedly saved her husbands life and borrowed money from her dad, well that's what she tells Ms. Linde. Nora really borrowed money from Krodstag, who is known for his forgery. In my eyes Nora and Krodstag are the same kind of people, liars and deceiving to get what they want. While her own husband is disgusted by those sort of people. "Just think how a guilty man like that must have to lie and cheat and play the hypocrite with everyone" says Helmer. How ironic? Little does he know. Nora tries to make her home seem so ravishing, corrupting everyone's mind. When Ms. Linde tells Nora she needs to tell her husband about what she did, she replies " It'd spoil everything between us, and our lovely happy home would never be the same." How could a home be happy if its full with lies and secrecy?
I'm so excited to see whats in for Act two. Will there be more betrayal or will the truth come spilling out? Nora is all worked up and paranoid, maybe she will crack. I guess we will have to see.
